Manawa knocks off Marion

The Manawa volleyball team has won its first two Central Wisconsin Conference North Division matches.
The Wolves handed Marion a 3-0 defeat Sept. 19 in Manawa and took three of four games from Wisconsin Valley Lutheran Sept. 17.
Manawa came out on the short end of a 25-20 score in the opening game against Wisconsin Valley Lutheran, but picked up the win with 25-18, 25-15 and 25-22 wins in the next three sets.
The Wolves will face Tigerton on the road Tuesday, Sept. 24, before hosting Bowler Thursday, Sept. 26. Both matches will get underway at 7:30 p.m.
