Police say he had loaded gun in car
Rory J. Koeller, 41, Clintonville, is charged with a fifth drunken driving offense, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and operating after revocation.
On Sunday, Sept. 8, Waupaca County Deputy Kyle Wiskirchen was patrolling in the town of Matteson when he saw Koeller driving a gray 2003 Chevy sedan.
Wiskirchen believed Koeller’s license was revoked, so he made a traffic stop.
According to the criminal complaint, Wiskirchen found a loaded pistol in Koeller’s car.
A preliminary breath test indicated Koeller had a .088 blood-alcohol content.
Dut to his four prior drunken driving convictions in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2015, Koeller is restricted to a .02 BAC.
He posted a $500 cash bond and was released from custody on Sept. 10.
