Wolves overcome slow start

Manawa takes three of four sets

Manawa dropped the first set of its Central Wisconsin Conference North Division volleyball matchup with Northland Lutheran Oct. 8, but came back to win the next three games.

Northland Lutheran opened the match with a 25-12 win, but the Wolves answered with 25-22, 27-25 and 25-16 wins.

Katie Buschke led the Wolves with eight digs, while Brooklyn Zielke added 14 kills, Mikalya Wegener had 12 kills and Josie Nichols had six blocks. Aubrie Seeger and Wegener served up four and three aces, respectively.
