Man accused of soliciting a child
Anthony J. Anunson, 21, New London, is charged with attempted soliciting of a child for prostitution and sexual intercourse with a child over age 16.
The charges were filed on Tuesday, Oct. 15, and Anunson was released the same day on a $5,000 signature bond.
On Oct. 2, Waupaca County Deputy Josh Krueger spoke with a 16-year-old girl who said she had consensual sex with Anunson.
According to the criminal complaint, they allegedly had sex once in her vehicle and once in his pickup truck in late August and early September.
Krueger interviewed a 13-year-old girl who said Anunson friended her on Facebook, then later offered to pay her for sex.
Anunson was previously charged with attempted child enticement, exposing intimate parts to a child and misdemeanor bail jumping on Oct. 2.
He was released from custody that day on a $2,000 signature bond.
