Brian L. Keenan, age 59, of Stevens Point, WI, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI.
He was born January 13, 1960 in Milwaukee, WI; son of Patrick and Suzanne (Deuster) Keenan. On April 24, 1982, Brian married Carol Kramer at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fremont, WI. He loved nature and wildlife. Brian especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting with his cousins, Andy and Jeff. He always had a special place in his heart, taking care of his dogs, Zoey and Emma. Brian was fond of animals and occasionally worked on the Kramer family farm. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends and playing cards. Brian will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Brian is survived by his wife, Carol Keenan of Fremont, WI; a daughter, Nichol (Rick) Walker of Bloomington, IN; a son, Eric Keenan of Fremont, WI; two grandchildren, Keagan and Reid Walker of Bloomington, IN; his mother, Suzanne Keenan of Montrose, CO; three siblings, Patricia Keenan of Montrose, CO, Michael Keenan of Montrose, CO, and Colleen (John) Johnston of Canyon Lake, CA; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Keenan, on August 11, 2002; and an infant brother, Francis Keenan.
A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church – Polonia, 7375 Church Street, Custer, WI. Father Alan Guanella will preside. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
