Kielblock named top player

I-S, W-F, Manawa players singled out

Mackenzie Kielblock stood out for the Iola-Scandinavia volleyball team this season.

Central Wisconsin Conference East Division coaches named the senior the division’s player of the year and she is one of several Iola-Scandinavia, Weyauwega-Fremont and Manawa players to receive all-conference recognition.

Kielblock joined teammate Bryanna Kisting and Weyauwega-Fremont’s Breanna Weiland on the East Division first team.

Weyauwega-Fremont’s Ashley Johnson and Teagan Kuckkahn made the second team, while Iola-Scandinavia’s Michela Aru and Jaelyn Sivertson and Weyauwega-Fremont’s Jayden McCoy and Taylor Folk received honorable mention.

Weyauwega-Fremont’s Rena Tomaszewski received the division’s coach of the year award.

Manawa’s Katie Buschke made the North Division first team, while Mikayla Wegener is on the second team and Kirstin Schernecker, Alyssa Hedtke and Sydney Lee received honorable mention.
