Waupaca County sheriff’s report Nov. 11

• Nov. 10 – Rose Garden Cafe, Waupaca, reported two men in a red Toyota truck “drove crazy” into the parking lot and then passed out.

• Nov. 10 – The Wheelhouse, County Trunk Q, Waupaca, reported a block Lincoln with no plates had been sitting in the parking lot for two days.

• Nov. 10 – Caller from High Point Ridge, Waupaca, reported her red Chevy Cobalt was stolen.

• Nov. 9 – Waupaca caller reported someone would not leave his property.

• Nov. 9 – Caller from the E8700 block of State Highway 96, Fremont, reported a Chevy Impala had been left on his property overnight. A strobe light was on and both airbags deployed.

• Nov. 8 – Staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported two residents, ages 69 and 70, had an altercation and one may have suffered a fractured hip.

• Nov. 8 – Caller from the E11000 block of State Highway 156, Clintonville, reported a person claiming to be a census worker was asking questions about a neighbor who had passed away. The person had ID and credentials, but the caller was concerned he was scouting the neighborhood for possible burglaries.

• Nov. 8 – Waupaca caller reported the people who scammed her out of money in the past contacted her again and offered to repay her if she gave them more money.

• Nov. 8 – Caller from East Ann Street, Weyauwega, reported she heard someone enter her home through her patio door.

• Nov. 7 – Caller reported her 91-year-old father was the victim of a phone scam.

• Nov. 6 – Chain One Stop, County QQ, Waupaca, reported the theft of a bottle of liquor.

• Nov. 6 – Caller from Wolf River Drive, Fremont, reported the theft of a utility trailer that had been parked on his property.

• Nov. 5 – New London caller reported a company said it would publish her book, then failed to do so. She said she was now out $100,000.

• Nov. 4 – Caller from N2300 block of Long Cove Drive, Waupaca, reported his tandem-axle trailer had been stolen.

• Nov. 4 – New London caller reported his wife believes someone is trying to break into her house. He said he is no longer with her because she keeps “flipping out and trying to start fights,” but he asked that an officer check on her.
