Madrigals to host Yuletide Feast

Renaissance festivities at Waupaca High School

The Madrigal Yuletide Feast will be held Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7-8, at Waupaca High School.

Guests can enjoy the charm of Renaissance England with storytellers, beggars and musicians.

The festivity will begin with a procession of singers through the hall, followed by a toast from the wassail bowl, the procession bearing the boar’s head, serenading by minstrels, recorders and strings, and a concert by the Madrigal Singers.

This year’s Madrigal ensemble includes King Connor Loken, Queen Anna Kilcoyne, Connor Andersen, Kai Badgley, Derek Emerson, Claire Jacquet, Hannah Jenson, Brock Keil, Isaiah Knueppel, Star Kunz, Caleb Mullet, Abby Perket, Lexi Rabassa, Emma Ronaldson, Seth Rowland, Taylor Schmidt, Lylli Sondrol and Shae Wright.

Guests are welcome to come as they are or dress in costume.

Seating begins at 5 p.m., and the feasting begins at 5:30 p.m. both nights.

Reservations are by mail-in order form only.

Forms are available in the Waupaca High School main office and the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce.

People may also contact Anna Lussier at [email protected] or 715-258-4131 to have one mailed to them.
