Iola-Scandinavia girls improve to 2-1

Iola-Scandinavia handed Adams-Friendship a 54-35 loss Dec. 3 in a nonconference girls’ basketball game.
The Thunderbirds overcame a slow start and eventually built a 22-12 halftime lead.
Adams-Friendship eventually cut the lead to four points in the second half, but couldn’t get any closer.
Bryanna Kisting led the T-Birds and all scorers with 13 points and Lilli Fuhs added 11.
Kallysa Farrell and Kayleigh Lent led the Green Devils with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
The T-Birds are now 2-1 and will open Central Wisconsin Conference East Division play Friday, Dec. 6, by hosting Menominee Indian at 7 p.m.
