Deputies say a woman arrested for a bar fight continued fighting while in jail.
Haley N. Falke, 27, Waupaca, is charged with felony battery to an officer and resisting an officer.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, Waupaca County Deputy Hilker finished booking Falke after her arrest.
She then told Falke to remove her earrings and necklace and change into a jail uniform.
According to the criminal complaint, Falke refused and dropped to the floor.
Deputies Ehrenberg and Hilker tried to lift Falke by her arms, but she pulled away.
She began screaming and kicking.
Four deputies grappled with Falke to remove her clothes and dress her in a jail uniform, the complaint says.
Eventually, the deputies carried and placed Falke into her cell without her clothes or uniform. Ehrenberg had earlier placed a smock into Falke’s cell.
As the deputies carried her into her cell, Falke reportedly grabbed Ehrenberg by her hair and hit Hilker in the face.
Falke was released from custody on Nov. 21, after posting a $2,000 cash bond for charges related to the bar fight.
She is scheduled for an initial appearance on Dec. 17 for the battery and resisting charges.
Falke faces up to six years in prison if convicted of battery to an officer.
