Clintonville man has four prior convictions
William Davidson, 52, Clintonville, is charged with a fifth drunken driving offense and misdemeanor bail jumping.
On Nov. 18, Waupaca County Deputy Clint Schroeder pulled over a vehicle in Clintonville that Davidson was driving.
Schroeder smelled the odor of alcohol and reported Davidson had glassy, bloodshot eyes.
A preliminary breath test indicated Davidson had a .12 blood-alcohol content.
According to the criminal complaint, Davidson admitted to smoking marijuana and a small amount was found in his vehicle.
In a separate court action, prosecutors cited Davidson for possession of a controlled substance.
The misdemeanor bail jumping charge stems from an Oct. 8 case for operating while revoked.
Davidson was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond with the conditions that he abstain from alcohol and comply with the Waupaca County jail’s alcohol monitoring system.
