Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 10

• Dec. 9 – A K-9 unit was called out to Weyauwega-Fremont High School.

• Dec. 9 – Iola caller reported a man and a woman shot a deer from the side of the road approximately 500 yards north of his driveway.

• Dec. 9 – New London caller reported an intoxicated woman just drove away from his house. He said she had been throwing things at him.

• Dec. 8 – Marion caller reported her ex-boyfriend had been harassing her with text messages and phone calls. She was afraid he would come to her house and try to take their mutual child.

• Dec. 8 – Fremont caller requested an officer because he wants the woman who has been living with him for two weeks to be removed.

• Dec. 7 – Iola caller reported her boyfriend drove off with her 16-year-old daughter.

• Dec. 7 – Waupaca caller asked for help removing a bat.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from the 100 block of East Madison Street, Clintonville, reported the theft of a generator.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from the E6500 block of State Highway 110, Fremont, reported the side and front door were open and the garage door smashed on a vacant house.

• Dec. 6 – Weyauwega caller reported a 35-year-old woman had been harassing him with text messages and throwing rocks at his house.

• Dec. 6 – Waupaca caller reported he was scammed out of $7,000 by someone who called and claimed to be from Social Security.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from Wolf River Road, Fremont, reported a boat by the landing was on fire.

• Dec. 5 – An 85-year-old Iola woman said she gave her address to a man on the phone who claimed she won the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes. She told him she lives alone and now she feels uneasy.

• Dec. 4 – Iola caller reported someone at a Milwaukee restaurant obtained his credit card and tried to use it at a Sam’s Club in Waukesha, but it was declined.

• Dec. 3 – A 90-year-old Waupaca caller said he believes his son stole approximately $11,000 from him.

• Dec. 2 – A 16-year-old Manawa caller said she came home from school and found a German shepherd and a pitbull had killed their seven kittens.
