Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 23

• Dec. 21 – Manawa caller reported people were at his home and refusing to leave. He asked for an officer.

• Dec. 20 – Waupaca Woods Mall, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported a man sitting on the floor and refusing to leave.

• Dec. 20 – A 79-year-old Waupaca woman reported someone claiming to be with Hewlett Packard accessed her accounts and transferred $10,000 from her savings to her checking. Her bank intercepted any further transfers.

• Dec. 20 – Clintonville caller asked for a welfare check on her 89-year-old sister-in-law.

• Dec. 20 – Caller from the N7200 block of U.S. Highway 45, town of Lebanon, reported a black car in his driveway and two men at his door asking for help to get their car started. He said he suspected they were on drugs.

• Dec. 20 – Caller from the E1500 block of Raymond Drive, Waupaca, reported someone was beating on their back door.

• Dec. 20 – Caller from the N4300 block of Oakland Drive, Waupaca, reported an apparently rabid raccoon at his home and no guns to take care of it. Upon the deputy’s arrival, the raccoon was gone.

• Dec. 19 – Caller from the N2900 block of Teddy Bear Lane, Waupaca, reported a raccoon by her front door. It appeared sick and refused to leave.

• Dec. 19 – Waupaca caller reported her husband was screaming at her and threatening to punch her.

• Dec. 19 – New London caller reported a man broke her TV and trashed her apartment.

• Dec. 18 – Caller from State Highway 22, Wild Rose, reported a 17-year-old with no license took their vehicle without permission and was involved in an accident.

• Dec. 17 – Fremont caller reported the lock to her storage unit was cut and a 64-inch TV was stolen.
