Jail officers find meth

More charges filed against Roe

Alison C. Roe, 47, Waupaca, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping.

At 6:15 a.m. Oct. 10, Waupaca County Deputy Susan Bartel reported observing Roe trying to conceal something while she was in the corner of her cell.

According to the criminal complaint, Bartel escorted the inmate to the shower and had Roe remove her pants.

Bartel reported seeing an unknown object in Roe’s underwear.

Roe was removed from the shower and a strip search was conducted.

After the strip search, Sgt. Krueger went into the shower and found a syringe on the floor.

Jail security video showed Roe remove something from her bra and put it down her pants prior to her removal to the shower, the complaint says.

Roe was in jail after she was arrested for allegedly shoplifting $207 worth of merchandise from Main Street Marketplace in Waupaca.

According to the criminal complaint from that incident, security video showed Roe selecting about 10 items, taking them to the back of the store and placing them into her backpack.

She is currently in custody on a probation hold.

Roe was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine on Sept. 9 and placed on three years of probation with the condition that she not possess any illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia.
