‘Two Flags For Marco’

Community play written by retired Waupaca teacher

A combined cast from the Waupaca Community Theatre and WHS Drama Department will present the play “Two Flags for Marco.”

The play will be staged at Waupaca High School at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 20-22, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.

“Two Flags for Marco” is directed by Amy Holterman and Monica Reeves and written by local playwright Patrick Phair.

The play highlights the lives of two men, one an autistic teenager, the other a 90-year-old World War II veteran.

The two come together and challenge each other to unlock their greatest fears.

The cast includes WHS students Connor Andersen, Connor Loken, Isaiah Knueppel, Hannah Holterman, Colin Studzinksi, Riley McKibben, Kisten Gregory, Delaney Rowland, Daisy Carlson, Seth Rowland, Tyler Schroeder and Kaden Hume.

The WCT members in the cast are Dave Larson, Pat Enright, Lori Bauer, Carmen Riebel, Tim Koll, Dean Sondrol, Donna Rickel, Barb Laedtke, Barbi Nelson, Kay Ellingson and Matt Bonikowske.
