Viergutz scores 19 points

North Eastern Conference wins continue to add up for the Clintonville girls’ basketball team.
The Truckers improved to 6-2 in conference play and 8-3 overall Jan. 10 with a 46-41 home win over Fox Valley Lutheran.
Clintonville outscored the Foxes 21-18 in the first half and 25-23 in the second.
Erin Viergutz and Elly Arndt led the Truckers with 19 and 10 points, respectively, while Emily Jaenke led Fox Valley Lutheran with 19.
The Truckers will head to Wrightstown Thursday, Jan. 16, to face the Tigers before hosting Waupaca Monday, Jan. 20. Tipoff for both games is set for 7 p.m.
