Wiesner leads Manawa in scoring

A win over Wisconsin Valley Lutheran means the Manawa boys’ basketball team is at the top of the Central Wisconsin Conference North Division standings.
The Manawa Wolves led by only two points at halftime Jan. 16, but outscored the Wisconsin Valley Lutheran Wolves 39-20 in the second half and went on to post a 61-40 win.
Manawa led 22-20 at halftime.
Mason Wiesner led Manawa and all scorers with 25 points, while teammates Riley Krenke and Bracyn Hass added 10 each.
Evan Graff led Wisconsin Valley Lutheran with 12 points.
