Court issued warrant for blood test
Brittannie L. Johnson, 32, Weyauwega, is charged with felony operating with a controlled substance and operating while revoked.
On Saturday, Jan. 11, Waupaca Police Officer Tom Grant was patrolling County Trunk QQ and Pryse Drive when he observed a light-colored minivan pass him with a missing headlight.
Grant followed the vehicle into a driveway where he noticed it had significant damage to the front end and the driver’s side headlamp was hanging to the ground.
According to the criminal complaint, she was unsteady on her feet.
Grant obtained a warrant for a blood test.
Johnson was released on a $2,000 signature bond.
She has three prior drunken driving convictions between June 2010 and July 2014.
Johnson faces up to six years in prison if convicted of a fourth offense of impaired driving.
