City seeks public input

Waupaca conducts online survey

The city of Waupaca is surveying residents and property owners as part of the process to update its comprehensive plan.

The survey launched earlier this month and runs until Feb. 1.

People may visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/DKHRPBP to take the survey online.

A paper option is available at City Hall.

City Administrator Aaron Jenson said people may return the paper surveys to City Hall or mail them to Andrew Dane’s attention there at 111 S. Main St., Waupaca, WI 54981.

Dane is the city’s interim community and economic development director.

He said non-residents are welcome to take the survey.

The city asks that they identify themselves as non-residents when they respond to the first survey question.

There is also a survey designed for students.

Topics being addressed in the comprehensive plan update include transportation, community facilities, economic development, intergovernmental cooperation, land use, as well as arts, culture and natural resources.

The update is to be concluded by the end of this year.
