Money Smart class offered

Four-week program on financial management

Money Smart will offer a four-week class on how to manage money, build or repair credit and build a financial future.

The class is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 13, 20 and 27 and March 5.

It will be held at Project WisHope, 200 N. Main St., Waupaca.

Mission of Hope House, Farmers State Bank and WisHope are sponsoring the class.

Instructors include staff from Farmers State Bank.

“Other community resources will be presented by Mission of Hope House and WISHOPE to further equip and empower individuals and families,” according to Lori Prahl, with Mission of Hope.

Class details

• Feb. 13 – Managing money, creating a spending and savings plan.

• Feb. 20 – Credit reports and scores, building credit histories, repairing credit.

• Feb. 27 – How to manage debt and credit cards.

• March 5 – Basics of checking and savings accounts, building a financial future.
