Henderson drops 25 on Hawks

The New London Bulldogs girls’ basketball team came from behind Jan. 30 in a 62-56 Bay Conference win over the Xavier Hawks.
The Bulldogs trailed 30-26 at halftime, but outscored the Hawks 36-26 the rest of the way.
New London’s Mikayla Henderson lead all scorers with 25 points and teammate Samantha Pfefferle added 13.
Sammie Buss led Xavier with 18.
New London improved to 6-4 in the Bay and 9-8 overall. The Bulldogs will play in Menasha Tuesday, Feb. 4, before hosting Seymour at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7.
