State fire marshal investigating
Clintonville firefighters found a body after responding to a call Monday, Feb. 10.
At 2:14 a.m., the Clintonville Police Department received a call of a possible fire near Clintonville Middle School.
A press release from police indicated that there was a language barrier between the caller and dispatch, making it difficult to locate the fire.
Police, firefighters and ambulance personnel found a home on 19th Street that had flames coming out the back.
Clintonville firefighters entered the building and found a body.
The State Fire Marshal’s office was contacted to help investigate the incident.
No further information has been released since the fire remains under investigation.
