Event slated for Feb. 17 at Rose Garden
A benefit is set for 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the Rose Garden Family Restaurant, for Waupaca Police Officer Diana Flatoff.
She was diagnosed with colon cancer last July, and has been off of work since then.
Flatoff had the tumor removed and is still having chemotherapy sessions.
She has served the Waupaca community for more than 15 years.
The Rose Garden Family Restaurant offered to have a benefit to support Flatoff and her family.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the Feb. 17 event will be donated to the Flatoff family to offset medical expenses and other needs.
Flatoff and her family extend their appreciation to the restaurant’s owner, as well as to Naim Alimi and his family and the community for the support during this time.
The Rose Garden Family Restaurant is located at 902 Churchill St., Waupaca.
