Wins have not exactly been adding up this season for the Weyauwega-Fremont girls’ basketball team.
The Indians picked up their fourth victory Feb. 10 with a 33-25 win over Tri-County on Parents’ Night.
The teams headed to the locker room at halftime tied at 13-13.
Weyauwega-Fremont opened the second half with an 12-3 run to take a 25-16 lead, but the Penguins answered with an 8-2 run to cut the deficit to 27-24.
The Penguins never got any closer, as Katie Bleck scored the Indians’ final six points to lead all scorers with 17 points.
Megan Reilley led the Penguins with 11 points.
The Indians will return to CWC East Division play Friday, Feb. 14, in Wittenberg against Wittenberg-Birnamwood before wrapping up the regular season with home games against Wautoma and Menominee Indian.
