Missing truck leads to warrant

Suspect’s current whereabouts unknown

Judge Troy Nielsen issued a warrant for the arrest of Zachary F. Harrison, 29, Kennedale, Texas.

Harrison is charged with taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent as party to a crime.

On Sept. 25, 2019, Waupaca County Deputy Adam Lange spoke to a woman in Dayton who reported that Harrison took a company truck to remove a tree.

She said he was supposed to return the truck by 6 p.m. on Sept. 24.

According to the criminal complaint, the woman tracked her cellphone, which had been in the truck, to a Citgo station.

When she looked at the phone’s recent activity, she found somebody had searched for directions to Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

She also found a phone number among Harrison’s belongings.

When she texted the number, she received a reply that the truck was in Milwaukee.

Lange called the same number and spoke with Harrison’s father, who said he purchased a bus ticket from Milwaukee to Pittsburg for his son.
