Two face meth charges

Drug bust follows traffic stop on State 22

Hunter K. Moy, 20, New London, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Jordan L. Lessor, 30, Schiocton, is charged with possession of meth, of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia, all as party to a crime. He is also charged with felony bail jumping.

At 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, Clintonville Police Officer Andrew Kizewski observed a black Chevy S10 pickup truck going northbound on North Main Street.

When he ran a records check, the truck’s plates came back as expired since February 2019.

Kizewski pulled the truck over on State Highway 22 north of Autumn Street.

Lessor was the driver, Moy was the passenger, and Kizewski considered their behavior suspicious.

In addition to the expired plates, the truck was not registered and Lessor did not have auto insurance, according to the criminal complaint.

Marion Police Officer Eric Krause arrived with a K9 that alerted for the presence of drugs inside the truck.

The officers reported finding syringes, pills identified as ecstasy and two crystal rocks identified as meth in the glove compartment.

They also seized marijuana from Moy’s purse.
