Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 2

• March 1 – A New London caller reported his company was logging a parcel when a 45-year-old man came over, became upset and hit his truck, causing damage.

• March 1 – Clintonville woman reported she had no heat and needed energy assistance.

• March 1 – An elderly man repeatedly called 911, asking for an ambulance, giving various reasons. He said he was in Sauk County, but 911 coordinates indicated he was at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King.

• March 1 – Northport Convenience Store, State Highway 54, New London, reported a black car had been parked behind the store for 20-30 minutes. Cars are not allowed to park behind the store.

• Feb. 29 – An intoxicated caller reported 12 people were fighting in the parking lot of a Waupaca bar.

• Feb. 29 – A New London caller reported his girlfriend drove away in his 2018 white Kia without his permission.

• Feb. 29 – A Weyauwega caller reported he was eastbound on White Lake Road when he hit a patch of ice, slid off the road, hit a tree and overturned. Airbags in his Toyota minivan deployed, and he was not injured.

• Feb. 29 – An 84-year-old woman called the Waupaca police multiple times wanting to know if “something was illegal.” When an officer tried to return her call, there was no answer. An officer was then sent to her home to learn what she wanted to report.

• Feb. 29 – A town of Dayton caller reported an ongoing domestic violence situation with her husband. She said she did not feel safe anymore.

• Feb. 28 – Caller from the E1500 block of Raymond Drive, Waupaca, reported a neighbor brought over a shovel filled with dog excrement and left a note on the pile: “Please show common courtesy. Signed your neighborhood.”

• Feb. 27 – Waupaca caller reported someone cashed a check on her account without her permission.

• Feb. 27 – Shawano County Sheriff’s Office asked the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office to arrest a 28-year-old man on a contempt-of-court warrant. The man had tried to buy a firearm.

• Feb. 27 – Manawa caller reported a 24-year-old man who had been drinking was having a psychotic episode.

• Feb. 27 – TK’s Bar and Grill, Manawa, reported a woman was being disorderly and refused to leave.

• Feb. 26 – Caller from the 500 block of Hillcrest Drive, Manawa, reported there were tracks leading up to the door of a vacant house. She said the door was wide open. Records indicated the residents had been evicted on Feb. 14.

• Feb. 26 – Chimney Inn, Weyauwega, reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill. They were uncertain as to who gave it to them or when.

• Feb. 24 – A 911 caller said he was suicidal, but refused to give his name or location.

• Feb. 24 – Staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported a 68-year-old resident threatened to bash in his roommate’s head and kill everyone else who was there.
