Hollywood comes to New London

Museum hosts Film, Fashion and Fun

Tickets for the New London Public Museum’s Film, Fashion and Fun on Saturday, March 28, are now on sale.

Starting at 12:30 p.m., guests will receive a swag bag of items from area businesses.

They can view the Fashion from the Vault display, which includes items on loan from the Wisconsin Film Archives.

Living “mannequins” will offer an insider perspective on the Hollywood costume industry.

Shellie Gotham will help guests make do-it-yourself souvenirs.

Mocktails will be served in a commemorative glass, along with light appetizers and popcorn prior to the movie.

At 2:30 p.m., the museum will screen the 1941 classic romantic-comedy “The Lady Eve,” starring Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda.

Tickets for Film, Fashion and Fun are $10 and available for purchase at the museum through March 21 or while they last.

The event is limited to 36 guests.
