Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 9
• March 8 – Caller from the N8900 block of County Trunk OO, Union, reported a car parked on the road near his house, the driver exited the vehicle, walked to his shed and tried to enter it around 12:30 a.m. The caller let out his dog, and the man ran back to his car and drove away.
• March 7 – Manawa caller reported some stolen checks were used without her permission.
• March 7 – Ogdensburg caller reported two men dumped garbage in her dumpster.
• March 5 – Waupaca caller reported she gave her Social Security number and a $100 eBay card to a stranger over the phone.
• March 5 – Manawa caller said her husband is an alcoholic who threatened to shoot her, then himself.
• March 3 – A trucking company in Marion reported a woman keeps calling their business and demanding they pay her $600 for her dog. She said one of their drivers hit the dog, but they have no knowledge of the incident. They also reported she said they will get flat tires if they drive past her house.
