Criminal sentencing

Recent sentencing, convictions and dismissals from Waupaca County felony cases.

• Judge Raymond Huber sentenced Andrew S. Sleaper, 25, Dodge Correctional Institution, to four years and four months in prison and three years of extended supervision.

Charges of hit-and-run, reckless endangerment and fleeing an officer were dismissed but read into the record.

Sleaper was held in Waupaca County jail on a $10,000 cash bond from his arrest on Oct. 11, 2019, until Winnebago County revoked his probation for taking a vehicle without consent on Jan. 30 and sent him to prison.

• Waupaca County charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child against Patrick C. Connor, 58, Neenah, were consolidated with a child sex crimes case in Winnebago County.

Judge Karen Seifert sentenced Connor to five years in state prison and eight years of extended supervision.

She also assessed Connor $12,128 in restitution and court costs and applied the $10,000 cash bond he posted last year in Winnebago County.

• Judge Troy Nielsen placed Brady A. Kennedy, 17, Waupaca on two years probation.

Kennedy was convicted of violating conditions of the sex offender registry and misdemeanor bail jumping.

Charges of theft and violating the sex offender registry were dismissed but read into the court record for sentencing purposes.

As conditions of his probation, Kennedy must also obtain a GED, participate in any counseling recommended by his probation agent and pay $1,187 in court costs.

• Huber placed Branden P.J. Lindsay, 23, Manawa, on two years of probation.

Lindsay was convicted of fleeing an officer and operating after revocation. A charge of misdemeanor bail jumping was dismissed but read into the record.

Conditions of his probation include revocation of his driver’s license for six months and $1,778 in restitution and court costs.

• Huber sentenced Eduardo Fiscal, 23, Kewaunee, to 60 days in jail and ordered him to pay $518 in court costs.

Fiscal was convicted of failure to report to jail. He was sentenced to six months in jail in September 2019 for obstructing an officer.

• Judge Vicki Clussman placed Matthew V. Meshke, 18, Clintonville, on three years of probation and ordered him to pay $1,679 in restitution and court costs.

In two separate cases, Meshke was convicted of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, obstructing an officer and criminal damage to property.

Charges of disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor damage to property were dismissed but read into the record.

• Clussman placed Brian T. Hartman, 38, New London, on three years of probation and stayed six months in jail.

Hartman was convicted of felony delivery of narcotics and misdemeanor child neglect.

Charges of felony child neglect and possession of methamphetamine were dismissed but read into the record.

Clussman applied the $500 cash bond he posted to $961 in court assessments. She also ordered him to participate in Drug Court.

• Clussman placed Stacy L. Kamke, 29, Seymour, on two years of probation.

Kamke was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor child neglect.

Charges of possession of narcotics and felony child neglect were dismissed but read into the record.

Clussman applied the $500 cash bond she posted to $961 in court assessments.

• Nielsen placed Zachary C. Bentancur, 29, Waupaca, on five years of probation after staying three years in prison.

Bentancur was convicted of two counts of possession of methamphetamine.

Charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of narcotics, possession of cocaine, possession of an illegally obtained prescription drug and possession of a controlled substance were dismissed but read into the record.

• Huber placed Christopher M. Norman, 20, Clintonville, on three years of probation and ordered him to pay $8,210 in restitution and court costs.

Norman was convicted of receiving stolen property and possession of methamphetamine.

• Huber placed Adam R. Jensen, 29, New London, on two years of probation.

Jensen was convicted of misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct as acts of domestic abuse.

A charge of felony strangulation was dismissed but read into the record.

As a condition of probation, Huber ordered Jensen to serve 60 days in jail with 40 days stayed and release privileges. He also assessed Jensen $1,086 in court costs.

• Clussman placed Destinee M. Lyons, 45, Suring, on five years of probation after she stayed a sentence of three years in prison.

Lyons was convicted of aggravated battery as an act of domestic abuse.

Conditions of probation include $518 in court costs, and she must submit to any treatment recommendations by her agent.

• Nielsen placed Adam M. Hauge, 20, Milwaukee, on three years of probation and ordered him to pay $518 in court costs.

Hauge was convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Charges of possession of marijuana with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record.
• Nielsen placed Nicholas J. Ubling, 33, Manawa, on three years of probation.

Ubling was convicted of felon in possession of a firearm and felony possession of marijuana.

Five more counts of felon possessing a firearm, one count each of possession of cocaine and possession of narcotics were dismisssed but read into the record.

Nielsen also ordered Ubling to pay $1,036 in court costs and submit to any treatment recommendations by his agent.

• Clussman placed Jessica M. Stuebs, 36, Waupaca, on two years of probation after staying a two-year prison sentence.

Stuebs was convicted of possession of heroin as party to a crime.

Condition of probation include maintaining absolute sobriety and having no contact with known drug users or dealers in the community. Stuebs must also pay $518 in court costs.

• Nielsen placed Tiffany L. Fronczak, 26, Weyauwega, on three years of probation after staying two years in prison.

Franczak was convicted of possession of heroin and felony theft.

Charges of forgery uttering, theft and felony bail jumping were dismissed by the prosecutor.

As conditions of her probation, Fronczak must serve six months in jail, submit to any treatment recommendations by her agent and pay $1,882 in restitution and court costs.

• Nielsen placed Hailie M. Kruger, 20, New London on three years of probation.

Kruger was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. A charge of misdemeanor bail jumping was dismissed but read into the record.

Conditions of her probation include a prohibition of consuming or possession alcohol and $518 in court costs.
