Plowman, George Clinton (Clint)

George Clinton (Clint) Plowman entered into eternal life on March 18, 2020, at the age of 60 years.

George was born on October, 29, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio, and moved to New London, WI at age 1. He attended Emmanuel Lutheran School (K-8th) and graduated from New London High School in 1978, where he was on the football team for four years. He majored in Computer Science at UW – La Crosse and graduated in May 1983. George was a “darn good” Software Engineer. He worked at Astronautics Corporation in Milwaukee and then Sheffield Corporation in Dayton, Ohio, where he married Lynn Zweidinger in 1989. He moved to Ft. Atkinson in 1990 and worked at Norland Corporation. Later, George moved back to the Milwaukee area and worked at CPU, Rational Software, Johnson Controls, and then Rockwell Automation until 2019.

George is survived by his father, George Clifford Plowman; his devoted son Clinton Tyler and Clinton’s mother Lynn; and four loving siblings: Michael Plowman and his daughter Amber and her mother Janet; Susan (Roger) Rosenow and their children Roger Jr, Tammy, Jason and Tonya; Mark (Kitty) Plowman and their children Mark Jr, Adam, Michelle, Cory and Alex; Tina (Paul) Hanlon and their sons Anthony and Bradley; Aileen Greuel and her son Joe; many friends, many aunts and uncles, grandnieces/nephews; and his childhood best friend Paul (Amy) Meshke. George is preceded in death by his mother, Jane (Krause) Plowman, and many aunts and uncles. George will be deeply missed by everyone. The celebration of George’s life will be determined at a later date.
