Teen busted for meth

Suspect on probation during police probe

Matthew V. Meshke, 18, is charged with 14 felony counts of drug-related offenses, including delivery of meth, delivery of THC wax and drug trafficking.

Meshke is accused of selling meth and THC wax to a confidential informant on four occasions between Feb. 5 and Feb. 18.
On Feb. 25, officers executed a search warrant at Meshke’s home on Bennett Street in the town of Larrabee.

They seized large quantities of marijuana, meth and heroin, as well as $1,370 in cash.

Examination of the cash found that $140 of the bills were pre-recorded money that the CI had used to purchase more than $1,000 of drugs from Meshke.

According to the criminal complaint, “Meshke talked about how he knew he needed to get a job but that he preferred the lifestyle of selling drugs compared to working.”

On Feb. 14, Judge Vicki Clussman placed Meshke on three years of probation.

Meshke was convicted of felony possession of narcotics, which was amended from possession of meth with intent to deliver.

His record would have been expunged had he successfully completed probation.

Meshke is currently in jail on a probation hold.

He is scheduled for an initial appearance on the most recent charges on May 26 and a revocation hearing on June 15.
