Woman faces felony charges

Police say she gave false identity

Desiree M. Anderson, 30, West Allis, is charged in Waupaca County with two counts of felony bail jumping, obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday, April 2, Weyauwega Police Officer Justin Malueg stopped a van on U.S. Highway 10 near Little River Road.

According to the criminal complaint, the driver said she was “hanging out with friends in Waupaca and now driving back home near Milwaukee.”

The female passenger gave a name that later proved to be false.

As he was speaking to the driver and two passengers, a man and a woman, who were sitting in the back of the van, Malueg noticed the odor of alcohol.

Malueg contacted the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, which sent Deputy Adam Labrosse and his K9, Drom.
Drom alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

A search reportedly found a one-hitter pot pipe with residue and a purse with a digital scale and another suspected pot pipe.

Malueg found the items  on the floorboard directly in front of where the woman had been sitting.

The driver told Malueg that the purse belonged to the woman.

Malueg placed the female passenger in the back of his squad car and asked her to be honest with him.

She maintained that she had provided her real identity and refused to answer specific questions about her age and residence, the complaint says.

The woman was transported to Waupaca County jail, where she eventually admitted she was Desiree Anderson.
She remains in custody.

At the time of her arrest in Waupaca County, Anderson was out on bond through Manitowoc and Waukesha counties.

Waukesha County and the state Department of Corrections had active warrants for her arrest.

In 2017, a video of Anderson having sex in the bleachers at the Wisconsin State Fair went viral and resulted in her being fined for giving an officer false information.
