Wardijan, John T. Jr.

John T. Wardijan Jr. passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, after a brief illness.

He was born on July 3, 1936 in West Allis, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late John T. and Evelyn Wardijan Sr. John lived his early life in the West Allis and Milwaukee area, moving to Wild Rose, Wisconsin, specifically Hills Lake, in the summer of 1976 after the death of his father. He took care of his mother until she died in 1988. John loved his life at the lake and enjoyed woodworking and watching his plants grow to enormous masterpieces. The lake was the place that many wonderful memories were made for his family, especially his nieces and nephews and future generations.

John was preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Fay Szafir and Nancy Plamann, as well as brother-in-law Adam Szafir. John is survived by his brother-in-law Kay Plamann, Waupaca; niece Melody (Randy) Brandt, Wausau; nephews, Kurt (Teresa) Plamann, Waupaca, Scott (Libertad) Plamann, Kronenwetter, and niece Sara (Monique) Szafir, West Allis. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19, private graveside service will be held at Saxeville Union Cemetery. Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences available at www.hollyfuneralhome.com
