County campsite order revised

Extended, but with more flexibility

Waupaca County will modify its order to close public and private campgrounds.

The state emergency health order was extended to May 26, but with more flexibility for some businesses considered non-essential.

The county’s campgrounds order is also extended to May 26 with modifications.

A partial re-opening of campgrounds will be allowed on Friday, April 24.

People leasing seasonal independent camping sites that are entirely self-sufficient will be allowed to occupy their sites.

The sites that can be opened must have their own sources for water and power, bathroom, kitchen and sleeping quarters.
