Iola-Scandinavia seniors recognized

Iola-Scandinavia High School recognized its Class of 2020 May 1 at Thunderbird Field in Scandinavia.
The school hosted a drive-through pickup of graduation caps and gowns with staff passing out materials and directing traffic.
With music in the background, the scoreboard was illuminated with 2020 for all to see as seniors and their parents pulled up to receive their items.
Not only did the seniors see the lights, but passing cars had a view of the field as well.
It was a wonderful time for students and several staff members to see each other in person while practicing social distancing.
