Summer shows to be resumed in 2021
Waupaca Chain Skiers canceled its ski shows this summer at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
“The team is working on a program to create safe, individualized training practices for our members this season,” according to a press release Monday, June 1. “Our goal is to build stronger athletes so we can resume our weekly entertainment in 2021.”
The Chain Skiers is a non-profit organization that relies on donations from community supporters.
The athletes, ranging from 4 to 64 years old, train on and off the water year-round to provide family-friendly entertainment throughout the summer.
