Annual event nixed by pandemic
Weyauwega’s annual Horse and Buggy Days is canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dan Knecht said it was difficult to plan, not knowing if the event would be able to be held.
He is treasurer of the Weyauwega Area Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors.
“We decided to postpone it a year and do it next year,” Knecht said.
Horse and Buggy Days is always held in mid-September.
This year would have been the 60th year.
“Next year will be the 60th,” Knecht said. “We plan on doing it next year.”
