Heroin bust follows traffic stop

Suspect has state prison record

Jeffrey M. Foeckler, 34, Germantown, is charged in Waupaca County with a second offense of operating while under the influence and possession of narcotics.

On June 26, Waupaca County Deputy Justin Malueg stopped a vehicle on U.S. Highway 10 in rural Weyauwega.

Malueg reported observing erratic driving.

After the driver, identified as Foeckler, performed field sobriety tests, Malueg suspected he was under the influence of drugs.

The deputy searched Foeckler and found heroin, needles and other drug paraphernalia.

Waupaca County Judge Vicki Clussman released Foeckler from custody on a $2,000 signature bond.

However, Foeckler is currently in custody in Racine County.

At the time of his arrest in Waupaca County, Foeckler was on extended supervision.

On Feb. 13, 2012, Foeckler was convicted in Milwaukee County of two counts of armed robbery and two counts of reckless endangerment.

He was sentenced to six years in prison, but released on extended supervision on May 26, 2016.
