New daycare center in Clintonville

Mother Goose Family Daycare Center will host an open house from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Families may view the facilities and meet the owner and director, Jessica Schroeder.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to show off the new space,” said Schroeder. “This dream has been over a year in the works, and I’m so happy with how it turned out.”

The new daycare center is licensed for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, and can care for up to 38 children total.

The building has been completely renovated in accordance with state and county regulations, and will officially open its doors on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
“I saw such a need for quality child care in the area, and wanted to do something about it,” said Schroeder. “I have five children of my own and I know how hard it is to leave them in someone else’s care. I wanted to provide a safe place for kids where they feel like they are at their ‘home-away-from-home,’ like they are a part of a family.”

Schroeder currently lives in Bear Creek with her husband, Zach, and five children, ages 3-18.

A lifelong area resident, she has spent most of her career in the healthcare industry as a respiratory therapist.

Mother Goose Family Daycare Center is located at N9094 State Highway 45 in Clintonville and is currently accepting children for enrollment.
