Patricia A. McCarville of Iola, age 67, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020.
She was born in New Berlin, WI on September 19, 1952 to the late Paul and Naomi (Overmoe) Bast. On September 30, 1989 she married John McCarville. Pat was an active member of First Baptist Church in Waupaca. She taught Sunday School and sang in the choir, as well as volunteering. She taught children in the Five Day Club when she lived in Beaver Dam. Pat had various jobs throughout her career, her last job working with Lands End. Pat was talented and seemed to be able to do anything; she enjoyed using her talents to restore a log cabin with her husband.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, John; children: Kermit (Tina) Templer, Nathan (Jenny) Templer, and Andrea (Joyce) Templer; grandchildren: Naomi, Gaia, Mackenzie, Madhi, Mia, Zoe, Oliver, Tysen and Milo; great-grandson, Grayson; brothers, Kermit (Janet) Bast and Paul (Diane) Bast, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Ron Ohl.
The Funeral Service will be on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1500 Roman Road, Waupaca. The visitation will be on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Maple Crest Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
