Warrant issued for sex offender

Suspect released from prison in 2019

Treavor Beck, 25, New London, is charged with felony violation of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.

On May 5, 2015, Waupaca County Circuit Court sentenced Beck to two years in prison and two years of extended supervision for felony child abuse and fourth-degree sexual assault.

The court also ordered him to register as a sex offender until July 2036.

On Nov. 8, 2017, Beck’s extended supervision was revoked, and he was returned to prison.

Beck was released from prison on July 23, 2019.

On July 29, 2020, the sex offender registry program mailed a registration letter to Beck’s last reported address on North Shawano Street in New London.

According to the criminal complaint, Beck did not return the letter.

On July 20, an agent for the registry program visited the Shawano Street address and spoke with Beck’s mother.

She told the agent Beck “started drinking again and was on the run,” the complaint says.

The court issued a warrant for Beck’s arrest on Aug. 25.

If convicted of violating the sex offender registry, Beck faces up to six years in prison.
