Leroy R. Graham, 84, Waupaca passed away Oct. 10, 2020.
He was born Dec. 24, 1935 to William F. Graham and Valeria V. (Doxtater) in Neenah WI. He served in the US Army from 1958-1960. He married DarlaJean E. (Holm) in April 1962. They raised six natural children, two adopted and numerous foster children. Leroy served on the boards of the New London Conservation Club and Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a NRA certified rifle, shotgun and pistol safety instructor. He shot on a trap team in New London for many years and was proud to have shot 100 straight several times. Leroy was the owner and operator of Dura Glass Industries for over 40 years, where he manufactured a wide variety of fiberglass components. After retiring, Leroy and DJ traveled to Mission Teens Bible Training Centers to disciple and pray with the residents for over 20 years. One of his favorite things to do was to play his guitar with their worship teams. He was the third of 10 children in a tightly bonded family who always had room for a few more.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Ed, Allen and Gary, and grandson Reuben James. He is survived by three brothers, William, Gerald, and Glenn and three sisters, Karen, Kathy, and Marlene, and children: Travis (Stephanie), Trent (Betsy), Montana (Becky), Raymond, Nevada (Robert), Sterling (Crystal), Ashley (Ellen) and foster daughter Tracey, 23 grandchildren: Caleb, Noah, Camille, Raquel, Bradley, Kyle, Remington, Phillip, Jordan, Mercedes, Nia, Miranda, Vanessa, Casey, Sierra, Marissa, Isaac, Rebecka, Annessa, Treyson, Abigail, Amelia, Genevieve and foster grandchildren, Vincent, Bella and Kale and 10 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements will be held at The Lakes Church in Waupaca Saturday Oct. 17th. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Service will be held at 1 p.m. with lunch to follow. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
