Hortonville netters top Merrill

Hortonville picked up a Wisconsin Valley Conference volleyball win Oct. 13 by taking three of four sets over Merrill at Hortonville High School.
The Polar Bears opened the match with 25-22 and 25-13 wins, but the Bluejays came back with a 25-13 win in the third game.
Hortonville wrapped up the match with a 25-23 win in the fourth game.
Hortonville is scheduled to host Wausau East at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, before heading to Wisconsin Rapids Saturday, Oct. 17, for a 10:30 a.m. matchup with the Red Raiders.
