Trick-or-Treat hours throughout Waupaca County

The Waupaca Parks and Recreation Department’s free annual Halloween Party will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Swan Park.

This year’s party will be a drive-thru event.

Everyone will remain in their vehicles.

Mischief and Magic will be at the park to entertain people while they wait in line.

Parks and Rec will have an I Spy game set up for families to participate in as well.

Crafts will also be available, along with candy and apples.

Families are invited to stick around after the party for a Park and Watch Movie.

Park and Rec will show “Hocus Pocus” on the big screen, beginning at 6 p.m.

Everyone will stay in their vehicles to stay safe and warm.

In addition, Park and Rec invites youth to participate in its Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest leading up to the Oct. 30 event.

Those age 18 and under are able to participate in the contest throughout the month of October.

To participate, children will carve one pumpkin and then submit a picture of themselves with their pumpkin to [email protected] by Oct. 25.

Park and Rec staff will narrow all the entries to five, and those will be posted to Facebook to be voted on by the community.

Voting on Facebook will take place from Oct. 26-31.
