Pauline D. Pomerenke, affectionately known as “Scottie,” to all who knew her, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Thedacare Medical Center of Waupaca.
Pauline married Leslie Pomerenke on June 6, 1956, and they had five children together. Les passed away on April 18, 1982.
She is survived by her children: Rick (Terri), Jody (Michael), Jim (Tammy), Jill (Mark), and Steve (Barbara). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Melissa, Nicholas, Cory, Catelyn, Cassidy, Ryan, Luke and Jake, as well as two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Owen.
In these uncertain times, we have to look to others to care for our loved ones. Such was the case with Pauline. We cannot express our gratitude enough to the caring nurses and doctors at the Waupaca Hospital. They are true angels who walk among us. We take great comfort in our belief that Mom is now reunited with Dad. Both of you are in our hearts always. Heaven welcomed a new angel on Monday, and her name is Scottie.
A Celebration of Pauline “Scottie’s” Life will be held at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
