Hoks, Thomas “Tom” George

Thomas “Tom” George Hoks, age 67 of New London, died peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2020, at UW Hospital in Madison following a battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Tom was born on October 9, 1953 in Menasha to the late Donald and Velma (Habar) Hoks. He was united in marriage to Lynn Neveau on September 1, 1973 in Menasha. He worked various jobs throughout the years, eventually pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. Following his graduation he accepted employment at Marinette Marine, retiring in 2018. Tom enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, reading and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tom was always willing to help others. For 15 years he volunteered for Crivitz Rescue and Twin Bridge Rescue. He also taught CPR classes and established the Twin Bridge Community Thanksgiving Dinner.

Tom is survived by his wife, Lynn; his children, Jody (Jeremy Sorenson) Hoks and Michael (Jenny) Hoks; his grandsons, Fischer, Easton and Chase; his sister, Jan (David) Olson and his in-laws, Robert (Linda) Neveau, Mark (Diane) Neveau, Mary (Duane “P-nut”) Johnson and Lori (Harry) Kuehn. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Marie Neveau and his sister, Linda.
