Teachers hold food drive

Collection benefits Clintonville area families

Teachers at Clintonville High School recently collected food items to be distributed to families in the Clintonville School District.

The food drive was organized by Clintonville High School Principal Kelly Zeinert, and held Nov. 16-20.

When she put out the challenge to the teachers, she said they accepted it enthusiastically. Each day they looked at the tallied total and said, “We can bring in more.”

Zeinert said helping families and students in the Clintonville School District in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic was “uplifting.”

She added that she believes that the food drive demonstrated the big hearts that her staff have.

“I am very proud of them,” Zeinert said.
