James F. Christ “Jim” of Menomonee Falls, age 89, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 due to complications of Covid-19/Coronavirus.
Jim was born in New London, WI to the late Austin F. and Mabel (Liner) Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Norma (May) and Alta (Smith), his son Brian, his sister Margaret Burns and her husband James Burns, his brother Robert Christ and his wife Mary (Jax) Christ. He is survived by his daughter Mary and his sons, Tom and Kevin (Amy) Christ. Proud grandfather of Shannon, Casey, Caden, Aimee (Daryl), Paul (Erica) and Jenni and proud great-grandfather to Enola. Also survived by nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Jim was a retiree of A.O. Smith Corporation and was devoted to his church and family. He enjoyed travel and spectator sports, as well as helping family and friends with projects. All who knew Jim, were at some point blessed by his generosity of time and effort.
Due to Jim’s love for his family, friends and community, a Memorial Service will take place at a later date when the health and safety of all who attend can be assured and the risk of Covid-19 has been contained. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Anthony Catholic Church in Jim’s name are appreciated, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.
