Girls’ basketball team opens home stand

A four-game home stand for the Weyauwega-Fremont girls’ basketball team kicked off Dec. 14 with a Central Wisconsin Conference-East loss.
Weyauwega-Fremont dropped a 57-15 decision to Wittenberg-Birnamwood.
The Chargers led 27-10 at halftime and outscored the home team 30-5 over the final 18 minutes.
Weyauwega-Fremont hosted Omro Dec. 15 and has home scheduled for Friday, Dec. 18, against Bonduel and Monday, Dec. 21, against Spencer. Tipoff for both games is set for 7:15 p.m.
